Movin' On Up

The lack of activity on this site (other than our guestbook spammers... grrr!) is due to the fact that we have been busy packing, moving, and unpacking. That's right, we are finally settled into our new home! The boys handled the transition really well- they didn't skip a beat. That just goes to show that while we adults tend to grow attached to material things, such as buildings, what really makes a place home is the people you share the house with. As far as the boys are concerned, as long as Mommy, Daddy, and brother are with them, they'll call it home!

  1. Thanks to everyone who helped us with the move. I underestimated how much work it would be to move everything, so we're very grateful you all were around and willing to help!

    * Bill Sweeney: you and your trailer were invaluable. It would have taken at least 10 van trips and many extra hours to haul what we did in a single trailer-load.
    * My Parents: thanks for coming up and helping us load the trailer, watch the boys, and get those final loads packed up and moved--and for all the food.
    * Chris: thanks for hauling, loading, and unloading things in your pickup truck.
    * Katie's Parents: thanks for helping us pack and unpack, for watching the boys, and for keeping us well fed (as usual :) ).
