Won't you be my neighbor?
On Wednesday Caleb and Joshua met some new neighbor babies! In the afternoon they went for a walk with Mommy and met Madison and Kyle who live around the corner and down the street. Then later in the evening when Daddy came home from work, we went for another walk and met baby Matthew, who was on a walk with his mommy who was in labor with his little sister Mary! We all walked around the block together once before they decided it was time to go to the hospital. Turns out they live in Aunt Joyce's old house where Katie practically spent half of her childhood playing with the boys' Aunt Suzanne! Maybe Joshua and Caleb will get to play with their new friends in that house someday, too!

Wow, it is such a small world when it all comes down to it! I am so happy to hear that there are other babies in the old neighborhood, it sounds like the boys will have friends near by... I can only hope that they are as wonderful as you, Katie! :-)
ReplyDeleteHaha, you're way too kind ;) You are wonderfuller! :) Yeah, there seem to be a few other babies around. I'm sorta bummed, tho, b/c the people who live in your house said they aren't going to open the pool this summer. I ran into Mrs. A (aka Mrs. Hamburger haha) last week and she was wondering whether they'd be opening the pool, too. Those were good times, hanging out in your pool with Mrs. A, since neither of our moms would ever want to get in the water! Anyway, hope things are going well for you in the other Washington! When are you coming home next to visit?
